The legendary host of “Sábado Gigante,” Don Francisco, has put his home in the exclusive enclave of Island Creek, FL, on the market for $20 million.

The popular Spanish-language television personality purchased the South Florida property in 1993 for $2.63 million. Francisco’s retreat is just one of 32 waterfront homes on the private and police-guarded Indian Creek Island and offers 118 feet of water frontage.

Now it’s the only home currently available for sale on the posh island. The 79-year-old host, whose given name is Mario Kreutzberger, stands to make a sizable profit on his investment.

Featuring six bedrooms and eight bathrooms on 9,000 square feet, the massive mansion offers a double-height entry foyer, formal living and dining rooms, a family room, and an extensive library with attached study.

The large modern kitchen features dark cabinetry, bar seating, and two islands. Other perks include a climate-controlled wine cellar and multiple access points outside.

Behind the home, a large pool and poolside terrace allow for al fresco entertaining. The poolhouse includes a summer kitchen, outside dining, and a gym.

At the end of the garden, the dock is spacious enough to welcome a large yacht. The grand entrance of the columned home features a motor court and fountain.

Known as the “Billionaire Bunker,” the 300-acre private island centers on a golf course and has been the home of a number of notable personalities, including the singer Julio Iglesias and the billionaire Carl Icahn.

Kreutzberger was the son of German Jewish parents who fled Germany for Chile during World War II. He took on his famous stage name and became the host of the world’s longest-running TV variety show.

Called “Sábado Gigante,” Spanish for “Giant Saturday,” the variety program ran weekly and became a tried-and-true staple in Spanish-speaking households worldwide.

It premiered in Chile in 1962, and in the 1980s, Univision brought the show to the United States, taping it every week in Miami. In 2015, the show finally ended its historic 53-year run. In 2016, the beloved host returned to TV with a multiyear deal with Telemundo.

Oren Alexander of Douglas Elliman holds the listing.
