Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill is in the final stages of selling his harmonious home in Nashville, TN.

The massive mansion came on the market in August for $8 million, and had quickly found a buyer by September. The final sale price has yet to be listed, but the home is currently under contract and pending sale, according to property records.

The musician purchased the property in 2014 for $1 million, realtor.com® records show.

It’s been an event-filled year for the rocker. Not only is he selling a home, he and his wife, Martha, welcomed a baby girl in January.

Built in 2018, the custom-built contemporary hits all the right notes. The practically brand-new build features five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms.

Perched on a hilltop and entered by a circular drive, the 4-acre gated property is surrounded by a woodsy landscape and treetop views.

Inside, the perk-packed layout features such details as high ceilings and hardwood floors. Walls of windows provide natural light and an extension of the living space outside.

The great room features a sleek kitchen with gold accents, and a large island with bar seating that looks out to a family area. The dining space includes a fireplace.

A spacious master suite overlooks the woods from a private balcony, and the master bathroom comes with double vanities, a large walk-in shower, and a free-standing tub with views of the pool. Other amenities include a large entry with built-ins, a wine cellar, media room, large gym, and sauna.

Outside, the grounds include a heated saltwater pool and spa, a poolhouse with a full bathroom, as well as a 1,144-square-foot bedroom and bathroom on the upper level. The home has geothermal central heating and cooling and a three-car garage.

Kings of Leon is made up of three brothers, Jared, Caleb, and Nathan, and their cousin Matthew. They released their first record, “Youth and Young Manhood” in 2003, and broke into the mainstream with their 2008 album “Only by the Night,” thanks to the megahits “Use Somebody” and “Sex on Fire.”

The band has won four Grammy Awards and two Brit Awards.

Steve Fridrich with Fridrich & Clark Realty has the listing.
