Heather Graham is selling a home she’s owned for more than two decades—a mansion nestled under the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles. She’s put it on the market for $2,850,000.
The actress bought the Spanish-style home in Beachwood Canyon in 1998, a year after her breakout role as Rollergirl in “Boogie Nights.”
Built in 1927, the three-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home was once owned by novelist Zane Grey. It’s a boho-chic, romantic piece of property, with tiered gardens, a grassy lawn, patio with built-in barbecue, a vegetable garden, pool, spa, and fire pit.
Inside, the three-level home features a lovely sun-drenched porch room, wood-paneled library, living room with wood-burning fireplace, and wine cellar.
The property comes with a structure which could be used as a guesthouse, pool house, or additional garage.
Graham’s willingness to let go of this Hollywood house doesn’t mean she’s leaving the acting game.
Just last month she was at the Toronto International Film Festival promoting her latest film, “The Rest of Us,” along with the movie’s breakout director, Aisling Chin-Yee.
“It’s a great role that was very interesting and complicated,” Graham said in an interview at the festival with the Montreal Gazette. “[I loved] working with women—a female director and all-female leads, female producers, and telling a female story from a female point of view.”
It’s another side of the “Hangover” and “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me” beauty audiences have come to know and love. Maybe selling the house is another sign Graham is looking toward new horizons.
