Sandra Bullock Selling One of Her West Hollywood Condos for $4.5M

The A-lister Sandra Bullock has decided to sell one of her West Hollywood condos in the Sierra Towers, the website Dirt reported. The upscale apartment is on the market for $4,495,000.

Located on a high floor of the building, which is a favorite of celebrities, the apartment had last been owned by the actor Matthew Perry, star of “Friends.” The actress snagged the pad from her fellow thespian in 2014 for $3.55 million.

Bullock has a long property portfolio and chose to renovate and then rent out this unit after she purchased it. The elegant property was last on the luxury rental market for $22,000 a month in 2017.

Seven years later, the star of “Gravity” wants to cash in on her investment in the snazzy space.

Rare air

The “rare jewel,” as the listing describes it, offers “unparalleled views” of L.A. from floor-to-ceiling glass walls and large terraces.

Bullock’s eye-catching pad is said to be “one of the most valuable and desirable properties in the entire building,” according to the listing.

The apartment features two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, and its airy, 1,759-square-foot, open-concept layout includes a living and dining area that flows into a sleek kitchen with built-in cabinetry. 

The dining space has pendant lighting and adjoins a lounge space and bar.

A lovely living area—which includes built-ins and glass doors—opens out to terraces. We can imagine an alfresco morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail to take in the city lights.

Both retreat-style bedrooms also feature built-ins, sitting areas, and sliding glass doors that open on the deck.

The combination of dramatic views and amenities, such as a pool, gym, valet parking, and two garage spaces, are likely to appeal to well-heeled buyers.

The next homeowner will rub shoulders with seriously famous neighbors. Already, the building boasts such A-listers as Adam Sandler, Courteney Cox, and Kelly Osbourne, according to Architectural Digest.

Blockbuster real estate

When not starring in blockbusters, Bullock, 57, is known for amassing big-time real estate from coast to coast.

In fact, the Oscar winner reportedly picked up another condo in this same L.A. tower in 2017 for $5.1 million.

She is said to own a $16.2 million Beverly Hills estate, two oceanfront Malibu mansions, a retreat in Jackson Hole, WY, a mansion in Austin, TX, a New Orleans Victorian, and a New York City townhouse. Earlier this year, the star sold two beach houses on Georgia’s Tybee Island for a combined $4,175,000.

In addition to her role as real estate mogul, “America’s Sweetheart” keeps busy with acting jobs. She’s set to appear in the upcoming flicks ‘Bullet Train” and “The Lost City of D.” Her long list of credits include the top-grossing movies “Speed,” “Gravity,” “The Proposal,” and “The Blind Side,” for which she earned an Academy Award.
