Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is skiing away from her Vail, CO, home, according to Architectural Digest. The former Alpine ski racer has listed her mountain retreat for $6 million.

But don’t worry, she will slalom into another home on the East Coast.

”She has actually purchased a home in New Jersey with her fiancé, P.K. Subban, who plays for the New Jersey Devils,” her representative told People magazine. The decision to sell comes a month after she announced her engagement to the hockey star.

The medalworthy abode was built in 2011 and measures 7,042 square feet, which includes five bedrooms and 6.5 baths. Located on Black Gore Creek on a private cul-de-sac, the property features lovely views.

The great room features a large, double-sided stone fireplace, currently decorated with Vonn’s trophies. Floor-to-ceiling windows are the backdrop to the large kitchen and dining area, and open to a spacious deck.

Downstairs, the large family room has a wet bar and a fireplace. In addition, the home comes with a fitness room where the World Champion must have spent quality time. There’s also a two-car garage and a heated driveway.

During a tour of the home with People magazine, Vonn pointed out her favorite features, including a whole-house sound system and a magnetic doggie door, which is activated by her three dogs’ collars. She said the home purchase in 2014 was her first.

Vonn has made real estate news before. She placed her Los Angeles home on the market in 2017 for $3.8 million, and it sold the following year for $3.65 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Vonn is considered to be the most successful American ski racer and one of the greatest of all skiers. She won four World Cup overall championships, and was the first American woman to win gold in downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics. In 2019, she retired from the sport due to injury.
