FireEye CEO Kevin Mandia is logging off from his Woodside, CA, mansion, which is now listed for $17.9 million.

The property has been the market for just over a week, but its prodigious price tag didn’t slow buyers on the hunt for an upscale home in Silicon Valley. The mansion is already in pending sale status.

Woodside is one of the wealthiest communities in the country, and its 48 active listings come with an eye-popping median home price of $3,795,000.

Mandia purchased the contemporary compound in 2014 for $16 million. He joined FireEye in December 2013, as the the cybersecurity company’s senior vice president and chief operating officer, and became its CEO in 2016.

The San Francisco Bay Area-based firm currently has a market cap of $2.5 billion, but its share price has gone down 70% in the past five years.

Located in desirable central Woodside at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the home is within easy walking distance of town and the Woodside School.

On 3 acres, the elegant estate features multiple structures, including the 6,035-square-foot main residence, a 700-square-foot cottage, a one-bedroom guesthouse, and a one-bedroom poolhouse and workout room.

The property has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, and the listing details state that it was designed by the San Francisco firm Walker Warner Architects.

Built in 2001, the airy interior features a two-story floor plan with a main living room, dining room, kitchen with breakfast area, and a family room. The library opens out to the patio.

Upstairs, find the master suite, an additional guest suite, and two more bedrooms, as well as an office and laundry.

The grounds incorporate a solar-heated pool, spa, tennis court, and entertaining patio beneath a grove of mature olive trees.

The home’s energy-efficient features include photovoltaic solar panels, a geothermal heating system, tankless water heaters, and a full backup generator for the property.

Clearly, the place is a perfect backdrop for entertaining. Back in 2016, according to the Political Party Time website, Mandia hosted an event at the address for Ohio Gov. John Kasich, then a Republican presidential contender.

Mandia founded the company Mandiant in 2004, which FireEye acquired in 2013.

Helen Miller with Compass holds the listing.
