PGA star Jeff Sluman has swung a sale of his Delray Beach, FL, townhouse. The contemporary beauty closed for $3.65 million at the end of March.

Sluman purchased the South Florida residence in 2017 for exactly the same price. Two years later, he placed the property on the market for $4 million. It sat on the market for a year with no movement, until the golfer decided to forgo a profit and accept an offer at the price he paid.

According to the listing details, the stylish space, built in 2016, is in “immaculate condition”  and offers lovely water views, while providing plenty of privacy.

Set on the Intracoastal Waterway, the development, which is known as Seagate Yacht Club, features only 10 units in an exclusive enclave located just three blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. With 4,486 square feet spread across three stories, this home’s floor plan offers water views, an abundance of natural light, and a rooftop terrace.

From a decorative path, guests enter into a foyer with a sitting area located under the stairs. The space opens to the main level, with a gourmet kitchen with bar seating, a living room with a fireplace and balcony, and a formal dining room surrounded by glass.

A first-floor bonus room could be turned into a family room or office and opens out to the covered loggia and pool. An additional first-floor bedroom could also be converted into a work space or used as a guest room.

Upstairs, the master suite includes a sitting area overlooking the water, two balconies, dual walk-in closets, and a master bathroom with dual vanities, soaking tub, and glass shower.

On the third floor, there’s a guest bedroom and bathroom, plus access to the palatial rooftop terrace. That coveted perch offers sunrise and sunset views, ample space for outdoor living and dining areas, a fire pit, as well as a kitchen with grill, sink, and fridge.

The home comes equipped with modern conveniences, including smart house technology, a security system, and gated privacy walls in the front and back.

Sluman has teed up other real estate deals in the past. He and his wife, Linda, unloaded their 9,000-square-foot custom-built home in Hinsdale, IL, for $4 million in 2016. Shortly after selling the suburban pad, the couple reportedly downsized to a $1.5 million condo on the 21st floor in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

Now 62, the Rochester, NY, native graduated from Florida State University in 1980 and turned pro that same year. He has been playing professionally since, and has racked up six wins on the PGA Tour, along with over $10 million in career earnings.

Nicholas Malinosky of Douglas Elliman held the listing. Pamela Stolle Agran of Lang Realty represented the buyer.
