The rapper Kid Cudi is now mixing it up in a new crib in Calabasas, CA, Dirt reported. The musician picked up the massive mansion in the celebrity enclave for $7.7 million.
The property came onto the market in March for the higher price of $8.3 million, so Cudi came away with a discount.
The two-time Grammy winner, whose given name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, will have neighbors like Drake, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, and his frequent collaborator Kanye West. It is possible that after West’s split from Kim Kardashian, Kanye may be spending more time in Wyoming, of course.

Fanatics of time capsule homes were clearly tickled by a Pennsylvania home with throwback interiors. Filled with glorious decor choices, the otherwise nondescript residence built in 1950 rocketed to the top of the week’s most popular homes on Realtor.com®.
And there was good reason for all the gawking. The original owners had the home professionally decorated when it was built and never looked back.
What remains seven decades later are carefully constructed interiors the likes of which just couldn’t be reproduced today. Inside this well-preserved place, you’ll see vintage wallpaper, original cabinetry, and a wood-paneled rec room—all of which appear as if they’ve emerged unscathed from another era.
Besides the vintage vibes, you were also gaga for gossip this week. Clicks on a $65 million mansion in Los Angeles soared after the throwback couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck toured it while house hunting in Southern California. The massive mansion is outfitted with every imaginable luxury (including a private medical room!) and the entire place is furnished by Fendi.
Other highlights include a bright-blue dome in North Carolina, an upscale suburban home outfitted with a doomsday bunker that can accommodate up to 60 apocalypse survivors, and a century-old log cabin in the woods.

Why it’s here: Cheesehead nirvana. Located right across the street from Lambeau Field and decked out in green and gold glory, this home is the ideal crash pad for a football weekend.
Built in 1967, the duplex offers an array of opportunities for a buyer. A income-generating rental property? A place to entertain corporate clients? Or just a place to revel with fellow Pack fans?
The two units each have two bedrooms and a single bathroom. One half is Packers-themed and the other unit is more subdued, for daily living. Out back, the yard features a built-in grill with granite countertops, for pre- and post-game fun.
Why its here: This blue home is far from bashful. The peppy teal geodesic dome house was built in 2007. A curvy, one-bedroom abode, it sits on a 10-acre piece of property with two additional mobile homes currently being leased.
Newly painted inside and out, the dome house features a kitchen with maple floors, plenty of storage, and a large front porch.
Why it’s here: Built back in 1971, and thoughtfully updated throughout, this huge, 10,124-square-foot custom mansion comes with an indoor pool and steam room, theater room, and ornate finishes throughout. Best of all, the four-bedroom home sits on a 30-acre parcel conveniently located in the heart of town.
Why it’s here: One of Kentucky’s most expensive mansions, this French chateau-style home was built in 2013.
It features six bedrooms and 15,000 square feet of detailed luxury. The 7-acre property includes a pond with fountain, a pool, and a poolhouse with room for guests.
Why it’s here: Known as Hickory Lodge, this wooded 26-acre getaway offers easy access to Lycoming Creek. The five-bedroom log cabin was built over a century ago and features a fireplace from the original armory on the site, a cypress kitchen designed by a local master craftsman, and a number of charming details.
Why it’s here: Perhaps the priciest place in all of Alabama, the property known as “The Landing” spans 81 acres, with 865 feet of lake frontage and a two-story boathouse.
The main house is a 18,093-square-foot mansion with a spa, tennis court, pool, two gyms, guest cottage, and a commercial-grade greenhouse.
Why it’s here: Grist Mill was built in 1714 and has been transformed into a lovely five-bedroom home with 4,218 square feet of living space.
Highlights of the historic structure include grain chutes, exposed stone walls, stained glass, reclaimed hardwoods, and a living room with 9-foot ceilings. The kitchen has recently been renovated, and there’s also an unfinished lower level.
Why it’s here: This massive 31,450-square-foot mansion was recently toured by the noted home shopper Jennifer Lopez.
As she looks for a spot to alight in L.A., the A-lister recently toured this ultraprivate, eight-bedroom home furnished by Fendi with current (and former) flame Ben Affleck. And this huge domicile has everything a diva could ever need—including an indoor pool, theater, wine room, bowling alley with game room, as well as a luxury pool and cabana.
Why it’s here: A terrific time capsule, this intriguing home remains awash in immaculate 1950s decor.
It’s been painstakingly maintained for decades by the original owners, who had the home custom-built and professionally designed and didn’t touch much after that. Filled with incredible throwback decor and fixtures, the four-bedroom home needs a buyer who appreciates a vintage vibe.
Most homes in Florida have swimming pools, but the pool at a Sarasota, FL, residence known as Casa de Flamingo stands alone.
“When I walked in, I had visions of movies I had seen,” says the listing agent, Steve Abbe. “I felt like I was in another world when I walked in there.”
The pictures do the place justice, he says, but walking through the doors into the place, he adds, “You’re just literally mesmerized.”
For a buyer yearning for a swim that is worthy of the silver screen, this 4,152-square-foot home is listed for $5.8 million. With azure waters lapping up against a palazzo, the home’s indoor-outdoor pool area is a sight to behold.
Abbe says the sellers spent two years searching the world for the perfect white and blue stones for the pool, and the right quarry, which could cut them at the same thickness.
The result is an elaborate area that looks like a Roman bath, with multiple archways and pillars surrounding an enormous, 45-foot pool.
“They wanted to have a living area that was inside—yet outside,” Abbe explains. “It’s a courtyard around the pool, and they live out around the pool most of the time, even though it’s not air-conditioned.”

The space has a bar, a pool table, a TV area, and more, all cooled by fans. Spacious and inviting, the outdoor area adds a few thousand feet of perfectly livable space.
“It just really lives open. You can look right up to the sky,” Abbe says. “The way it’s designed, you get sun on the pool but not on the rest of the area down there. It stays cool. Temperatures are beautiful, and the air flows through.”
As for pesky Florida bugs, they aren’t a problem at this house. Many homes in the Sunshine State are outfitted with glass structures surrounding the pool, to keep critters and insects at bay.
This has no pool cage, the agent notes, but bugs don’t get in, “because they don’t fly in the top, and they don’t come in through the opening archway where the pool goes to the outside.”
The rest of the house surrounds the pool, and most of the rooms on the upper floor have balconies overlooking the courtyard area.
Surrounding views are also worth savoring, because the home sits on almost an acre of land on Hudson Bayou and offers deep-water dockage.
“You’re only about 150 yards to the bay [and the Gulf of Mexico] from this house,” Abbe says.
True to the home’s moniker, the flamingo motif is a great highligh.
The surround of the front door is hand-carved Cantera stone, with male and female flamingos, Abbe notes. The imposing front doors are 10-foot tall mahogany, framed with 24 feet of stone carvings.
Inside, you’ll find four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The kitchen has Blue Azul countertops and professional appliances. A large great room connects to the kitchen.
Opulence is the word in the main bedroom wing, which boasts three chandeliers as well as a huge closet. A large bathroom has an oversized glass shower.
In addition to the fabulous main home, there’s also a welcoming guesthouse.
“When you come into the property, you come underneath the guesthouse. There’s an archway, and the guesthouse is built above that,” Abbe explains.
Guest quarters are outfitted with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area, making the property perfect for multigenerational living.
With the indoor-outdoor flow and abundance of courtyard space, the home is ready-made for a crowd.
“I think it’s just a real nice entertaining house. It lives so inside/outside. You spill out from the pool to the dock,” says Abbe.
While everything in the house is top-of-the line, the pool at the center of the home shines brightest.
“I want to jump in every time I walk into the house. It’s so inviting. I’ve never seen anything quite like it,” the agent adds.
